Football

“Formed in 1977 the club was originally called FC Lions and started as an Adult Team.  The club changed name when they came under the wing of the local Sikh Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Slough. More recently Singh Sabha Slough now have an amazing youth setup which started in 2015 growing from 2 teams and now has 11 teams from U7s to U17s. We are a grass roots football that is diverse and inclusive of all communities that want to play football or take part in supporting the club. Our vision is to get children and adults active in sports in a safe environment where they can build life long friendships that they otherwise may not have had the opportunity.  At the same time we are looking to find those future stars and provide them a platform to propel themselves forward.  Slough is a diverse community and we want to bring together different cultures with the open door policy we promote. As we look to the future and welcome new generations, we plan to improve the Football Facilities at the Singh Sabha Sports Centre ensuring the long term sustainability of the club.”
